Well, my site in its new form is slowly taking shape, and should be just about ready to submit as coursework next term. I still need to work out what to do about photos. The ideal solution is a database, with keywords for all the photos, and have it searchable. That is, however, a lot of work. My latest photo collections are being served up by the photoinfo perl script, which saves a lot of effort in publishing photos. It is, however, a mere proof of concept (of the JPEG header parsing).
Tomorrow is the OxIRC christmas dinner, at the BookBinder's Arms, which should be fun.

OK, so I've left this to gather dust for a bit...
Tonight, in Norfolk, it is a very beautiful night. The air is perfectly clear, the sky unpolluted by the sodium city glow. The moon is full, and casts strong shadows of skeletal, leafless trees over the crunchy blanket of refrozen snow that covers the fields and hedges. Around the moon is a ring, a spectral halo of ice crystals. A meteor slices through the steely grey sky.
